Acerola in powder standardized to 40% natural Vitamin C is an unique solution in the global food and supplement market

São Paulo, November 2023 – With ingredients present in more than 40 countries, Duas Rodas has received outstanding recognition at the 2023 New Nutrition “Nutrition Intelligence Manufacturing” Award, in the “New Plant Power” category, in China. The award was won with the unprecedented solution in the global food and supplement market, Vitamin-Ace™40, a dehydrated Acerola standardized to 40% natural Vitamin C.

This is the second year running that the company has been recognized in the “New Plant Power” category of the Innovation Awards promoted by New Nutrition, a news portal for the nutrition industry, Nutrition Box, the Guangdong Health Food Industry Association and New Plant Strategy in China.

Unique on the global market, Vitamin-Ace™40 preserves the rich natural Vitamin C potential of acerola and has a high concentration of 40% ascorbic acid, meeting the growing consumer demand for healthiness, naturalness and functionality in food products and supplements.

Manufactured using proprietary technology and processes from selected acerola fruit, with high quality standards, preserved sensory and bioactive properties and a high concentration of standardized natural Vitamin C, the ingredient is carrier free, enabling clean label claim for final products.

Natural ascorbic acid is of great interest to consumers, especially because of its recognized health benefits, such as strengthening immunity and antioxidant action to reduce free radicals. The winning companies were announced during a seminar held on 19 and 20 October in the city of Guangzhou, whose main focus was the debate on ingredients for the nutrition and health industry.

The awards were given in ten different categories: “New Plant Power”; “Raw Materials New Power”; “Solution Pioneer”; “Microecological Pioneer”; “Application Innovation”; “Technology Empowerment Pioneer”; “Creative Pioneer”; “Excellent Service Platform”; “Excellent Supply Chain” and “Dosage Form New Power”.
