São Paulo, June 2024 – A popular attraction during Fispal Sorvetes, the Arena Gelado Experience has increased its capacity by around 50% this year to meet the high demand for talks and classes offered free of charge every day of the event.

The Arena’s free activities will be promoted by the sponsor and supporter Duas Rodas and its brands Selecta and Specialitá, leaders in the ice cream market, in partnership with the fair’s organization and the companies Carpigiani, equipment supplier for the edible ice cream market, and Prack, packaging supplier also sponsoring the space.

The program, which will begin every day at 2:00 p.m., provides for three attractions per day, between talks and classes, from June 11 to 13; and two on the last day of the fair, 14.

There will be a total of 11 attractions, with hands-on classes that will address topics such as açaí, soft ice creams, boozy ice cream, gelato recipes for different consumption occasions and creative popsicles. The classes will be conducted, in partnership, by technical professionals from Duas Rodas and Carpigiani.

Guest speakers will also present content relevant to the ice cream market, always starting at 4 pm. On the first day (6/11), Luiz Aguiar, Marketing Manager at Duas Rodas, will explore the theme “Ice Cream Trends in Brazil & the Consumer”. On Wednesday (6/12), Rogério Lima, a specialist with more than 20 years of experience in trade marketing, will present the talk “Maximizing results in the ice cream category through trade marketing practices”. And on Thursday (6/13), Camila Renaux, a digital marketing expert, will talk about “AI – Your ally in your business. Learn how to use it and generate results”.

On June 12, the first class, starting at 2:00 p.m., will be attended by a special guest: chef Franklin Bin, last year’s MasterChef Professionals runner-up. Franklin will present his daring and innovative creations in the class “Gelato: from appetizer to dessert”. With the participation of the technical team from Duas Rodas and Carpigiani, the chef will prepare three gelato recipes live, for appetizers, main courses and desserts.

There will be 140 free spaces for each of the 11 activities, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
