Connected to the growing movements of consumers in search of naturalness, health and wellbeing in food, Duas Rodas will be launching its Natural Ingredients Platform, dotNAT – designed by nature, during the WellFood Summit 2019, which will be held on April 3 and 4 in São Paulo (SP).
The platform reinforces the company’s portfolio of natural flavors, botanical extracts and dehydrated fruits and vegetables, which was born in the midst of the diversity of the world’s largest biome, and is a pioneer in the manufacture of essential oils from tropical plants in Brazil.
With nature inspiring the creation of its aromas since 1925, Duas Rodas is strategically strengthening investments in the development of natural ingredients, combining its nine decades tradition, cutting-edge technology, intellectual ability and knowledge about food.
“Our ingredients prioritize the authenticity of taste, the simple and clear translation of the complexity of nature in order to establish harmonious connections between the human senses and to promote truly outstanding experiences for consumers,” says the Director of Innovation and Technology at Duas Rodas, Antônio Carlos Figueiredo Gonçalves.

The nature printed in the DNA of Duas Rodas makes its natural aromas unique, with fresh, limpid top notes with a good impact and excellent fixation, which translate the origin of each flavor.
The dotNAT platform combines sweet, fruity and salty aromas in liquid and powdered versions.

In line with the consumers’ search for more functional benefits in food and beverages, the dotNAT Platform’s plant extracts deliver high performance in flavor and in different plant and fruit assets, with stability and international guarantee of food security.
One of the highlights of the portfolio is Fruittion Botanicals, an exclusive line inspired by the diversity of Latin American flora.
Dehydrated fruits and vegetables
With growing interest in food and beverages with real fruit and vegetable content, Duas Rodas’ extensive line of dehydrated products for the food and beverage industries stands out. The company uses different technologies and extraction and drying methods, such as spray dryer, drum dryer and vacuum dryer, in processes that prioritize the maximum preservation of nutritional aspects and sensory characteristics of fruits and vegetables.
The ingredients from the dotNAT can be used in the most varied categories of foods and beverages, such as biscuits, candies, carbonated drinks, teas, dairy drinks, powdered soft drinks etc., to meet the demands of the consumer market. The dairy/yogurt category is one that exemplifies consumer interest in naturals: a survey by the international agency Mintel (2017) found that 44% of Brazilian adults stated that they would be interested in trying a yogurt drink/yogurt with mixtures of fruits and vegetables.
