The Brazilian multinational is TOP 5 in the ranking of the segment of food, beverages and ingredients in the Country of the Prêmio Valor Inovação Brasil 2020 (Innovation Value Award Brazil 2020)
São Paulo, September 2020 – The multinational Duas Rodas, a national leader in the manufacture of flavors and ingredients for the food and beverage industry, is recognized for the 5th consecutive year as one of the most innovative companies in Brazil by the Prêmio Valor Inovação Brasil 2020 (Innovation Value Award Brazil 2020). The company is part of the TOP 5 of the most innovative companies in the area of food, beverages and ingredients in the country.
In its 6th edition, the Award is an initiative of the Valor Econômico newspaper in partnership with the global consultancy Strategy & (PWC) that recognizes companies that stand out in the management of innovation, investments in the local market and results achieved. The theme of this year’s research was “Competencies of the Future”, which evaluated five pillars of the companies’ innovation chain: intention to innovate, effort to carry out innovation, results obtained, market evaluation and knowledge generation.
The choice of companies begins with a study that involves companies from 23 different sectors and addresses investments in innovation and the creation of new products, in addition to analyzing best practices and other indicators, such as solutions and strategies. The survey generates the Anuário Inovação Brasil (Innovation Brazil Yearbook), which brings the 150 most innovative companies in the country.
Duas Rodas celebrates its presence in the ranking of Valor Inovação Brasil 2020. For President Leonardo Fausto Zipf, the award is a recognition of the company’s resilience in the face of adversity, sustained by the firm purpose of maintaining innovation as the main driver of competitiveness and business expansion even in delicate moments.
“This principle has guided us since the company’s founding almost 95 years ago, it fuels constant renewal and growth, always in line with market trends to help in the creation of the future. The assertiveness of this position is confirmed by the projections that indicate a 15% growth in revenue this year,” says the businessman.
The award event took place last night (9/17), for the first time in digital format, due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
For Duas Rodas, innovation is the most consistent way of ensuring business sustainability. The company invests about 5% of its annual revenue in research, development, infrastructure and intellectual capital to innovate in products, processes and technologies.
Collaborative innovation and the generation of products with greater added value are essential aspects in the creation of innovation projects for the market.
