Duas Rodas presents exclusive powder extract of Euterpe edulis (Açaí Juçara) with high standardization of anthocyanins, at Supply Side West 2023
São Paulo, October 2023 – With excellence in the production of botanical extracts typical from Latin America, the Brazilian multinational Duas Rodas presents AnthoPowerTM6 at Supply Side West 2023, which will be held on October 25 and 26, in the USA. The extract has a standardization of 6% anthocyanins from the fruit Euterpe edulis, Açaí native and exclusive to the Atlantic Forest.
Exclusive on the global market, the powdered extract of the tropical superfruit is mainly applied in supplements for sports nutrition. The ingredient is part of AnthoPowerTM, Duas Rodas’ portfolio of Açaí products (Euterpe sp.).
The extract has a high concentration of anthocyanins and polyphenols. Powerful antioxidants, anthocyanins are recognized for their health benefits: their consumption helps to increase sports performance, contributes to muscle recovery after high-intensity exercise and improves cognitive performance.
The fruits of Euterpe edulis (known in Brazil as Açaí Juçara) are cultivated with other species in reforestation areas, an initiative that produces positive effects on the economy and the environment. In addition to contributing to the biome’s preservation, it promotes sustainable use of the natural resource and the socioeconomic development of rural communities, providing a value-added product with nutritional and unique functionalities.
AnthoPowerTM6 will be displayed in the SSW’s New Products Zone, a place reserved for outstanding innovations and will be presented in two applications: gummies and powdered beverage for sports performance.
