Duas Rodas receives “New Plant Power” Award in China

The Brazilian multinational company Duas Rodas was recognized in the “2022 Intelligent Nutrition Products Manufacturers” Award, in the category “New Plant Power”, promoted by New Nutrition, a news portal focused on the nutrition industry, and the Health Food Industry Association of Guangdong Province, in China.

The award-winning companies were announced during a Seminar held on December 28 and 29 in Guangzhou City, which focused on the debate on plant-based ingredients and female nutrition.

The award was given in eight different categories: “New Plant Power”; “New Ingredient Power”; “High Technology Precursor”; “Application Innovation”; “Solution Developer”; “Innovation Precursor”; “Excellent Service Platform”; “Excellent Supply Chain”.

Duas Rodas’ New Business Manager in China, Pedro Effting, celebrates the recognition: “Duas Rodas has invested to develop its presence in Asia and much of this goes through strengthening our team to allow us to experience market needs firsthand. Due to the existence of our structure in China, we were able to better identify the opportunities, in which we can communicate our brand effectively.”

Our award in “New Plant Power” opens up a good chance to improve local market knowledge about our brand, ”says Melody Lu, Product Manager for Duas Rodas in China, by pointing out that New Nutrition did a lot of promotion for the award, including articles on WeChat, offline talks, and videos.

The Business Development Manager of Duas Rodas in China, Lingling Xie, represented the company at the award ceremony during the Seminar in Guangzhou.  “The Chinese market is one of the most important on the global stage. The reinforcement of our team last year was an important milestone for Duas Rodas in China, because it allows us to be closer to customers, present our Latin American specialties, understand their needs and serve them faster and better. New Nutrition, as a media in the field of healthy eating, plays an important role as a bridge and link in the connection between the food industry and customers.”

The multinational has three units in Brazil, another three in Chile, Colombia and Mexico and offices in the United States and China.
