The main events confirmed from August will be held in person or in the hybrid format. The agenda of Brazilian and international trade shows and conferences in the food and beverage market will gain momentum in the second half of this year with the strong resumption of on-site or hybrid programming.

The positive expectation of most organizers regarding the in-person events is based on the advancement of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 worldwide.

Of the 18 prominent global fairs and congresses mapped for the 2nd semester, 10 will be in person, 4 hybrid and 4 online.

The most recent event confirmed for 2021 in Brazil is the APAS Show 2021, which cancelled the 2020 edition due to the pandemic, and will hold the 36th edition between October 27 and 30, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo.

The calendar of Brazilian events focused on the food and beverage market in this second semester was opened by the traditional Food Ingredients South America (FISA), which was held in a hybrid format between the 10th and 12th of August.

Altogether there will be 9 events in Brazil between August and November.

In the global market, all the highlighted events mapped will be either face-to-face or hybrid, including Supply Side East, in the US, Sirha Lyon, in France, cancelled in 2020, and Anuga, in Germany.

In the 1st half of 2021, 13 outstanding events were held related to the food and beverage market in Brazil and worldwide.

A portion of trade shows and congresses, previously scheduled for 2021, ended up being transferred to 2022.
